Forbes Business Profile Prior to SPAC Deal

As Vice President of Communications, I led all executive thought leadership for McKeel as we evolved the brand from classic car insurance to include automotive lifestyle media, the Driver’s Club, and an automotive marketplace. Just prior to taking Hagerty public with a SPAC deal valued at $3B in 2021, we secured a high profile CEO business profile for McKeel in Forbes.

I expanded our media presence during Hagerty’s acquisition of several prestigious automotive events in 2021, including the California Mille, the Concours d'Elegance of America, and the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Additional media coverage secured included Architectural Digest, CNN and the New York Times.

As head of Marketing Communications for Jitterbit, I led executive positioning and AI messaging for 6 CEO appearances including CNBC’s Squawk Box, Bloomberg, and Fox LiveNOW. We achieved a sixfold increase in media impressions in Q1, doubled our global audience QoQ in Tier 1 media, and amplified our SOV in the UK by 66% from Q2 to Q3. We also secured 10+ engagements for our CTO in tech publications and podcasts including Forbes Tech Council, Solutions Review, IT Pro, Process Excellence Network, CIO Influence, Techstrong AI and StartSe.

Set the vision for MedMen’s CEO Adam Bierman’s keynote to investors and industry leaders at the Arcview Group conference in Chicago in 2018. The keynote was transformative in elevating Bierman’s image from a stigma of corporatizing marijuana to visionary CEO calling for unity in the emerging cannabis market and establishing MedMen as the nation’s first cannabis unicorn brand.

Beijing Children's Hospital Partnership

Through our partnerships with world-renowned children’s hospitals including UCLA’s Children’s Hospital and Beijing Children’s Hospital, Mattel is increasing access to premium healthcare and medical training for underserved Yan Shan residents and healthcare practitioners in Southwest China. Mattel facilitated a visit to rural Yunnan for China’s leading pediatricians, providing medical consultations to the local community and conducting training sessions for local doctors at the Yan Shan County People’s Hospital. The partnership focuses on the importance of children being physically healthy so that they can also develop social, creative and emotional skills through play opportunities.

Early Childhood Development Incubator

 In March 2018, Mattel and the Alibaba Innovation Center partnered to launch a learning and play incubator in Shanghai for parents with support from the United Nations’ Every Woman Every Child Partner Network (UN EWECPN) and Save the Children. The initiative aims to support young parents in China to become happier and more confident in a world with sky-high expectations and societal pressure.

Children are able to be closer to their parents, interact in a positive learning environment, and have access to specialized educational curriculum.
